How to Share Files on Twitter

Pretty slick way to share a file on Twitter: www.filesocial.com uses Twitter credentials for login to upload and link files. Not that there aren't alternatives, but the path of least resistance often wins in my book. Now, why would I need to share a file with the Twittersphere? I haven't figured that one out, yet.
