Set PAGE FLAKES for your RSS feeds

What do you use as your home page?

Are you subscribed to RSS feeds to have content come to you? I was using Netvibes for a while, but it seemed a little slow .... I guess any of these can load slowly if you subscribe to a zillion feeds. But check out PageFlakes.... It seems to load reasonably quickly and they have a nice list of widgets to choose from.

....And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then all the more reason to check it out. Information is doubling ... If we don't make it come to us.. well...It'll go to somebody else! ;o)

Second Life - The Corporate Training Center of the Future?

I can't stop thinking about this the past few days... This literal world of connectivity that is "Second Life". Not that the experience hasn't been around, in the online Role playing gaming world, for quite some time. My kids have been exploring fantastic worlds and chatting with people from all over the globe for a while now on the PC and on the X-box. But this move from midnight to midday is intriguing... the shift from 18 to 30 or 40 something .... and the ability create a virtual space for business meetings, transactions, promotions....

I still know nothing about this except what I've read in a page or two ...I'm really just off "Orientation Island"... But, the idea of selling virtual real estate!!!!!! Absolute genius!
