Father and Daughter

The song Father and Son by Cat Stevens always "gets" me, as does Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin.

This is nicely done short film... go ahead, take a break and appreciate something creative. I've been thinking that I don't do enough of that, lately.

I just tossed a music CD in the dash on the way home from the airport the other day and realized how long it has been since I've let myself get into some music! Too often I'm listening to some audiobook, or podcast that is wonderfully informative and educational , but doesn't "touch" and inspire the same way.

Funny how memory works better when connected to emotion (and visualization). We may remember where we were when the towers fell, or when Kennedy was shot... Our emotions were engaged.
